Mora Clock Facelift
I love my wall hanging “mora” clock. It’s one of my favorite things in the house. But it was always too dark for me. Time for a facelift! I used Annie Sloan Pure White and Graphite. I mixed a little bit together (usually about 3 parts white and 1 part graphite) to get the perfect grey. The accent areas are painted in Pure White. Then I used Sweet Pickins Black Wax -which I sell HERE – to give it an antique look. What do you think? Be kind. 😉
SIDE NOTE….I finally found a source for the clock. I’ve been searching and searching!!! And this one is over $40 less than what I paid! Click HERE to buy the exact clock I am discussing.
Here’s the before…there was lots of brightening up this photo so you can imagine how dark it actually was.
Here’s the after…I’d love to change the clock face but I haven’t looked into doing that yet. I also lowered the clock a few inches.
