It’s the final installment of the Shop The House Design Challenge. Emphasis on CHALLENGE. This week was not as simple for me as the past weeks had been. The main reason being, I really liked my last installment (#3). It was perfect for me and for what I wanted during this season. But I have to say, this final installment is kind of growing on me. It’s probably my second favorite of the four.
If you don’t know what the Shop The House Design Challenge is, I have teamed up with a handful of bloggers to pick one spot in our home to only decorate with the items we already own. It started in January and it’s ending TODAY!
Before I show you each installment, here is this week’s. I went shopping in my shed and brought in a HUGE dresser mirror. It was black and I just painted it a turquoise color. And yes, it is a chalkboard. I thought some of my blue glass collection would be cute. And now that I’m writing this, I’m not 100% sure I owned the pewter pitcher on the right side of the mantle prior to January…whoops. 😉
Here are installments one through four. Which installment is your favorite? Let me know on Instagram! I’m still crushing on #3. Maybe because I love the personal touch of a family picture. Or maybe it’s my favorite drop cloth chair just sitting there in all of it’s French glory. And it’s no surprise to me that each of these are showing my changing camera skills. I bought my first “big girl” camera at the end of December and I am just now learning how to use it.

Thank you for following along on this challenge. I hope it shows that you don’t always have to buy new items to freshen up a space.
I hope you have an amazing day!
And remember, you did it yourself and it will probably show. Embrace the DIY life.
