One Room Spring Tour – Dining Room
Spring is here and it’s time to put away the winter and bring out the sunshine. Spring is my jam! It’s the best. Spring colors make me happy and I could use them all year round. For my spring decor, I wanted to bring subtle changes that could easily transcend into the summertime. I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money. A quick trip (is there such thing as a “quick trip” when you have 3 little boys with you?) to Home Depot for flowers and Hobby Lobby for some faux garland, and the shopping was done.
And I am so honored to be joining a group of 25 bloggers in the One Room Spring Tour to showcase how we decorate for spring. Please take a look at the other bloggers linked at the bottom of the post. They are so inspiring.
So here is my dining room all gussied up for spring. With a little bit of real greenery, a little bit of faux greenery and a little bit of blue glass….spring is in the air.
The weathered wood bead garlands are a diy. Tutorial coming soon!
Oh and this birdcage….be still my heart! I mean seriously, I’m smitten.
I just finished this drop cloth chair. Check it out HERE. It’s now one of my favorite chairs.
I wanted to have enough blue glass inkwells to use at a place setting for each member of the family….And of course I’ve past my goal. They are just so cute, I can’t help it.
My plates scream spring. I bought them at Macy’s about 3 years ago. They don’t carry them anymore. 🙁
The grain sack pillow is a DIY and goes perfectly on my french twin headboard turned bench, if I do say so myself.
My Ava Berry Lane monogram sign fits the spring theme like a glove. And the blanket hanging over the painted fabric chair, for a tutorial on how to paint fabric click HERE, is actually a table runner from HomeGoods.
For details on my “mora” clock click HERE. It’s my 4th baby.
This is where I keep my most important treasures. I love my grain sacks and my blue glass!
A little more blue glass….
